Here are the same wallpapers with different colours. For the first three I have made the drawings look more like a stamp to try out different techniques. I really like this effect it makes the lines really stand out.

Ornate portraits with pastel colours

These are the Portraits from the previous post. I have added different pastel colours to them to see which ones look better. I really like lilac and pink ones they look more elegant  than the green and blue ones as they are quite masculine colours. I also like the nude colour next to the green one. 

Portraits from Ornate Collection

This is a wallpaper from the Ornate Collection including portraits of Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana and Doris Day. I have kept the black and white theme but again, like the other ornate piece I will be adding other colours.

Pastel colours from Ornate Collection

 

These are pastel colour experiments I have been trying out to see which ones would most suit the decorative theme. I think I prefer the lilac shades more than the blues and greens.

Original wallpaper design from my Ornate Collection

This is the original design just black/grey and white with some colour dotted around. I really like working this way but I will shortly be experimenting with pastel tones to see what would really compliment these elegant frames.

I found this piece on the website above. The artist is called Florian Nicolle aka NEO. I will definitely be researching more into this kind of illustration for portraits.

I really like the work of Alexis Marcou. I find his work very inspiring I will try this abstract technique on one of my portraits to see how it works.

Timorous Beasties Wallpaper

This is how the wallpaper I previously posted would look in a room. I love this decoration it's something I'd really like to have in my own house. I think its really creative and this size of the drawings are just right. this has inspired me to work bigger as it would be easier to line things up when putting the wallpaper in place.

This is an image of one of Timorous Beasties most famous wallpapers. I love the detail in this piece, there are other samples of this in colour but I prefer black and white.

This is a wallpaper piece by Deborah Bowness. I really like her art work, I like the use of black and white images with shots of colour in selected areas.
